1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy describes how Vnue LLC, a Texas limited liability company (“Vnue,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards personal information in connection with your use of our website, platform, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).
Vnue is a business-focused event engagement platform designed to help organizations plan, coordinate, and improve business events. By accessing or using the Services, you acknowledge that your information will be handled as described in this Privacy Policy.
2. Information We Collect
We collect information that you provide directly, information collected automatically through your use of the Services, and information generated through event participation.
Information you provide may include your name, email address, company name, job title, phone number (where applicable), and any preferences or responses you choose to share. If you submit an inquiry, register for an event, or interact with our platform, we collect the information associated with those interactions.
If you are a host or organizer using Vnue, you may provide contact information for event invitees, event details, and related data. By submitting such information, you represent and warrant that you have the legal right and appropriate permissions to provide it for use within the Services.
We may automatically collect certain technical and usage information when you access our Services, including IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, and interaction data. We also use cookies and similar technologies to support functionality, analytics, and performance improvements.
In connection with events, we may collect RSVP status, attendance data, and engagement-related information such as feedback or survey responses.
If payments are processed through the Services, payment information is handled by third-party providers. Vnue does not store full payment card details but may retain limited transaction-related information necessary for reconciliation and support.
3. How We Use Information
We use personal information to operate, maintain, and improve the Services. This includes facilitating event planning, booking coordination, communications, and follow-up activities.
We also use information to improve event relevance, enhance user experience, maintain system security, detect and prevent misuse, and comply with legal obligations. Our goal is to support more intentional, relevant, and effective business events.
We do not sell personal information.
4. AI and Data Usage
Vnue uses AI-enabled systems to support event planning, workflow guidance, and experience optimization. These systems rely on user-provided inputs, event activity, and aggregated usage patterns.
AI is used to assist users, not replace decision-making. Vnue does not use AI to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects on individuals. AI systems are not permitted to execute financial transactions or confirm bookings without direct user authorization.
We do not use sensitive personal data for profiling, and we do not rely on external behavioral tracking or undisclosed data sources to make recommendations.
5. Communications and Consent
We may send email communications related to event participation, including invitations, confirmations, reminders, and follow-up messages. You may opt out of non-essential communications at any time using the unsubscribe mechanism provided.
SMS communications are sent only where explicit consent has been obtained. Transactional messages may include event reminders or updates. Marketing or future event messages are sent only where separately opted in. Consent for marketing messages is not bundled with transactional communications or account verification.
You may opt out of SMS communications at any time by replying “STOP,” and you may request assistance by replying “HELP.”
6. Sharing of Information
We may share information with trusted service providers that support our operations, including cloud hosting providers, payment processors, email and messaging services, and analytics providers. These providers are contractually required to protect your information and use it only for authorized purposes.
If you register for or attend an event facilitated through Vnue, your information may be shared with the event host or organizing company to enable coordination, communication, and follow-up.
We may disclose information when required by law, legal process, or governmental request, or when we believe such disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, users, or the integrity of the platform.
7. Data Responsibility and Ownership
Event hosts and organizers are responsible for ensuring that they have the appropriate rights and permissions to upload and use contact information. Vnue acts as a service provider facilitating event coordination and engagement and does not assume responsibility for how users obtain contact data.
Vnue maintains internal records necessary to operate and improve the Services, including event engagement data and derived insights. Vnue does not act as a system of record for customer relationship management systems and does not claim ownership over customer data beyond what is necessary to provide the Services.
8. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, as well as to opt out of certain communications or data processing activities.
You may submit requests by contacting us at:
security@vnue.ai
We will respond to requests in accordance with applicable law.
9. Data Retention
We retain personal information only as long as necessary to provide the Services, support event operations, comply with legal obligations, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer required, it may be securely deleted or anonymized.
10. Data Security
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. These measures include encryption in transit, access controls, system monitoring, and audit logging.
While we take security seriously, no system can guarantee absolute security, and we encourage users to take appropriate precautions when using online services.
11. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies to improve functionality, analyze usage, and enhance user experience.
These technologies help us understand how users interact with the platform and allow us to improve performance over time.
You may manage cookie preferences through your browser settings.
